Club Rules for Haunted Hallways

If your club plans on participating in haunted hallways you MUST read these rules. After reading the rules fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Thanks! -SGA

Decorating Rules:

 

  • You are not allowed to use wet paint and blood inside the room. If you want to use blood, you can apply it before setting up your room and let it dry.

  • You are not allowed to use fog machines due to the smoke detectors in the building.

  • If you will need power in room, please let us know. We can provide access to power, but you will need to provide you own power strips.

  •  If you are unsure about something, please ask us. It is better to be safe than to be sorry.

  • You may use strobe lights in your room; however, please let us know ahead of time so we can warn individuals who may be unable to go through due to a medical condition.

  • You may only use blue tape on the walls in the rooms. Please do not use packing tape, duct tape, scotch tape or any other kind of adhesive product without asking Student Activities staff member first.

  • You are not allowed to use glitter.

Rules for Event

  • The event itself runs from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. You MUST stay the entire time as to not allow gaps. Please also clean up after yourself when the event is over.

  • Do NOT grab or touch the people that are walking through the event.

           

Haunted Hallways Additional Information

 

  • The room that receives the most votes at the end of Haunted Hallways will get first choice of participation in whichever event in next year’s Homecoming events.

  • You will need to submit a title for your room to use on the Haunted Hallways ballot.

  • You will need to provide a script for the tour guides to use once they get to your room.

  • You will have $100 to purchase supplies for your room. Please purchase your supplies and submit receipts to Kathy Wilt in Student Activities. Please make sure to let her know that the supplies you are purchasing are for Haunted Hallways so they don’t come out of your budget. Any money spent over $100 will be the responsibility of the club.

  • Pay close attention to the schedule of the day’s events we WILL be sticking to that schedule and be on time as best as possible. If the schedule changes at all you will be notified as soon as that change is placed into action. 

  • On day of event please ask any questions that you need to ask. If you need something do not be afraid to ask.
