Seven members of the Stevenson SGA, including the advisor Kipp Colvin, traveled to Jacksonville Florida for three days packed with leadership sessions and guest speakers. The topics ranged from rewriting a constitution, to how to effectively set goals and values. At the end of each day, our energy was low, but our spirits were high. Meeting 178 other enthusiastic college students was not only inspiring, but also invigorating.
We have a renewed sense of passion flowing through us, and we collectively agree that SGA owes it to the student body to be the voice it deserves. This convention strengthened our belief that SGA is not just about allocating budgets and creating regulations. SGA is about being a platform for the community of Stevenson to come together and work towards the common goal of a great college experience. If you are ready for your voice to be heard, the SGA would like to be your megaphone!
